Be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime event for the
JFK graduates of 2008!
JFK
Grad Nite is a drug-free, alcohol-free, all night on campus celebration for all
2008 Kennedy graduates. Grad Nite is a
parent conducted event and the participation of many parents, especially those
of Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors is needed.
This is a great opportunity for you to be a part of the last activity
these kids will ever attend as high school students. They will never forget
this night, and if you are a part of it, neither will you!!!
You do not need to have a senior student to be part
of the Grad Nite team. Jump in now and
ensure that the JFK Grad Nite tradition continues for years to come.
We will be meeting during the school year on a
monthly basis. Check our website at
www.kennedygradnite.org for meeting dates, times and locations as they become
available. Committees are forming and we
need help in the following areas: Food,
Entertainment, Fund Raising, Prizes, Promotion, Donations, Clean Up, Security,
Medical, Admissions and Decorations.

ENTERTAINMENT
Committee Responsible for securing the DJ, major games and
activities that will be used for the event.
Committee members may help during Grad Nite supervising games and
activities.
FOOD
Committee Responsible for acquiring donated and purchased food
and beverages for the night of Grad Nite. Committee members may also help at
the popular food and beverage areas during Grad Nite.
FUND-RAISING
Committee Oversees fund-raising efforts. This committee contacts local businesses and
community organizations to secure funding and donations. New ideas and big dreams are always welcomed.

PRIZES Committee They will
use money from fundraising and gifts from local businesses to obtain prizes
that will be given out during the party.
PROMOTIONS Committee Their job
is to create enthusiasm for Grad Nite among students, parents, school administrators,
faculty and the community at large. This
is done through announcements in the school paper, the parent newsletter,
articles in the local newspapers, contact with radio stations, and any other
medium you can think of.
CLEAN UP
Committee These
committee members will come in immediately following the event to assist with
clean up.
SECURITY
Committee This committee provides a safe, drug and alcohol-free
atmosphere during the party. With
assistance from the Police, they will maintain security of the facility, all
perimeters and parking areas.
MEDICAL Committee This
committee is available to handle any medical situations that may occur during Grad
Nite. Maintains Agreement/Medical forms from the parents and students.
ADMISSIONS
Committee This
committee designs the tickets and a way of identifying those who should be
admitted into Grad Nite. Committee
members welcome the graduates and staff the check in/out areas during Grad Nite.
Responsible for personal items check in.
If any students need to leave early they will make contact with the
parent or guardian.
DECORATIONS
Committee This committee designs, creates, and sets-up the
decorations. Creative minds, artistic
ability and carpentry skills are welcome, but not required. Many, many willing hands are needed!
